WELCOME TO BARTER TOWN!
The event is themed around the classic movie Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. All attendees who come outfitted in any Mad Max style garb will receive one advantage that they may play to get a small leg up on any ONE game. More info soon.
In this classic film a wanderer crosses the post apocalyptic wasteland and discovers Barter Town. A primitive enclave that provides protection for it's people but also has a barbaric method of settling disputes; The Thunderdome. "Two men enter, one man leaves!" so goes the chant in the film.

The overall winner of It's Not A Game will win the honor of Runner of Barter Town.

We will have beer, wine, and cider available as well as food. Please indicate if you are gluten free or vegan etc when you purchase your pass so we can plan accordingly.
THE STUFF WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO SAY!
Rather than have a strict code of conduct that addresses every bad behavior we'll simply say that disrespect beyond friendly smack talk between friends will not be tolerated. Poor sportsmanship that makes others uncomfortable could result in the offender being asked to leave or simply not being invited to the next event. It will be our discretion. This is a FRIENDLY event and nothing should be taken seriously except the causes for which we game.

Also - we are guests at this venue. If all goes well it could lead to greater and grander events in the future. Please respect all property and event boundaries as well as the surrounding neighborhood and its occupants.
